Composed originally for symphonic forces, 'Compassion' is a 7 movement work conceived in collaboration with singer/songwrite Lior that draws from the rich worlds of Islam and Judaism. The work presents a collection of profound and poetic insights into the practice of compassion and its ability to transform our relationships as human beings. This particular version is reimagined for septet and features the Tinalley String Quartet with guest artists Rebecca Lagos (percussion), David Campbell (bass), Daniel de Borah (piano) and the stunning vocals of Lior.
