sidebar In Program 2, the words and music of Beethoven are woven together in ‘Speak Less than you know’ featuring actor, John Bell; revealing a man, oft portrayed with furrowed brow and tempestuous outpourings, vulnerable through heartbreak, and at his core, a man of faith.

Tinalley String Quartet’s 2016 Melbourne/Sydney Season defines a new path for the ensemble.

Singer/songwriter Lior joins the Quartet in 'Through Nature to Eternity' a musical narrative featuring Ravel, Dvorak and Barber together with a new Song Cycle by Ade Vincent and a reimagining of ‘Compassion’ by Nigel Westlake.

Collaborating with such renowned and diverse artists as Lior and John Bell, we invite audiences to be inspired by the new; moved by the greats of the string quartet genre and listen to chamber music with a fresh approach.
