Tinalley is thrilled to announce that His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales has granted the Tinalley String Quartet Vice-Regal Patronage, commencing from January 1, 2016.  We look forward to welcoming His Excellency General and Mrs Linda Hurley at the Quartet’s 2016 Utzon Room Series. Tinalley has partnered with two of Australia’s most luxurious hotels as Accommodation Partner of its 2016 Season.  The Primus Hotel in Sydney and the Langham Hotel in Melbourne.    The newly opened 5 star Primus Hotel (lobby pictured below) has taken over the site of the former Sydney Water building at 339 Pitt Street in the CBD. The 1939 heritage-listed building, designed by Nicholas Mackey and Henry Budden (who also designed Sydney’s David Jones Building) was virtually hidden away from the public until it was sold in 2008. A glorious example of art deco style, the building has been painstakingly restored to its former glory.  Primus Hotel Sydney Ph.
